A boxer does not go into a fight with only one glove. So, one must not go into battle with only his/her head or heart. One needs both to win the fight. It takes a certain wisdom-a niche, a gift, to know which one to lead with. Some fights must start with love. The heart should take the lead and reasoning should follow behind it. If the heart is the only tool, one uses in battle, the chance of being sucker punched increases. Fighting with only love gives the power to one's emotions and that is dangerous. Allowing the mind to think a situation, through, grants brings logic and facts into the fight. On the other hand, if the head is the only tool one uses in the fight, also increases the risk of losing the fight. Fighting with only logic gives the power to one's thoughts and that is dangerous. Allowing the heart to follow through makes room for the power of compassion and empowers the impact of every punch. In other words, it takes balance to achieve a strong stance and a stable position is the key to victory.
