In His Hands

2020 has given me a new clarity. Now, I know, I must put my heart in the right hands. In my hands, I allow life to fill it full of bitterness, anger, pain and darkness. In my hands, my heart cannot avoid the darts of the devil's shame. In the world's hands, my heart is bound to bleed, break, and bend to fear or it may be stolen by some form of nature.

That is why I am confident that my heart is best in the hands of God. I trust him with it. I know that it will still hurt. But he gives me comfort by gifting me his armor that equip me to overcome pain, doubts, and guilt. In His hands, it will become like His. In his hands, darkness cannot destroy it.
